8 Weeks and Counting!

video

Today was our first "official" OB ultrasound and started the 8th week of our pregnancy!  The twins looked perfect and had beautiful little heartbeats of 165 and 169.  Twin A even moved a touch for us...though he/she decided to stop when we tried to watch!  Other than a bleed last week from a mild subchorionic hemorrhage (which is no longer even visible on the ultrasound), I have done wonderfully!  I certainly have lots of pregnancy "symptoms," but nothing that I can't handle with lots of gratitude for the opportunity.

As you can see by the photos and video, Adam is one seriously proud Daddy!  He brings his camera to every appointment and anxiously awaits "permission" to take a photo or two.

We are very happy that all is well and will likely announce our news to the world (aka Facebook) around week 12.  But, for our faithful blog followers, these are for you!

They are officially blobs :-) that's what I called Hannah at this stage. Congratulations and I loved the video, tell Adam he has permission to do that at every appointment, that was awesome to watch, and once again I'm praying for both a boy and a girl :-)

Awesome ultrasonic pictures, because your twins are perfect.

Wow! You have some awesome pictures there! Must be some high tech equipment! Clearly the equipment at my doc office sucks! LOL

Thanks everyone! Bethany, our doc's machine is pretty old...but not bad. My friend's machine is amazing (flat screen and all), but I hate to ask him to ultrasound us since he's not paid for it. The video was taken with Adam's Nikon...turned out rather decent considering!

I finally sat down to catch up-BOY, have I been missing out! I am thrilled for you and Adam. I cannot even find the words! (Tums made me recall my routine: Tums BEFORE eating a meal. Much easier on the esophagus!) This is so amazing! Thank you for continuing to share your story with us.
