Since I am off today and Adam has to work until 9, I decided to explore Red Rock Canyon park. The area is about 5-6 miles from our apartment and is full of hiking trails, beautiful scenery, and occasionally water (though not during the summer). Fonzie wanted to go, so I took him. He got hot and refused to walk after only a quarter of a mile. So...I had to carry him! The 2 of us did however drive the 13 mile "loop" around the park and took lots of pictures. Here are some pics of various viewing areas... The first is Fonzie with the whole park in the background. (He's sitting on an aluminum (cool) picnic table.) The second is Fonzie and I (taken by me) at the Calico Springs area. The third is Fonzie overlooking the park from the highest point in the park. The forth is Fonzie with the "ugly mountain" in the background. (Yes, he looks like he could use some sunglassses.) The fifth is also a view through the Calico Springs Oasis (not much of an oasis is it?).

How exciting...even though the little guy didn't take to the terraine...the first photo of him with the scenery in the back is a great shot..suitable for framing!
Well...another lovely week at MUSM...God deliver me...hopefully with another job or a large lottery win!
Watched a great movie this week...the Ultimate Gift....
Later,

Oh... the comments...
The top picture looks like it will be on the brochure of your clinic one day, or at least blown up and hung on a wall somewhere. A definate for the Fonzie shrine.
The third picture... as Joey said... "I sure hope she bought him a taco after that $%!t." What you did to that dog really is just wrong. You should be ashamed. I'd take that picture off immediately before you end up beside Michael Vick.

Joey says that the first picture looks like somthing "she got down there at the J.C.Penny's.".... nice cloth back drop. Did the photographer wave the carrot to get him to look?
Hey...sorry about my personal comments...realized this isn't the place for them.

Your dog is not doing a good job of showing off his heritage. You need to get hiim more acclimated, or take a lot of water for thhe little fellow.

Ok, I took the dog PLENTY of cool water (not cold, because he doesn't like it cold)... He drank about 8 oz of the 16.9 oz bottle and ate some peanut butter snacks. He was very well treated (even carried), but he's still the wimp he's always been!
