We didn't exactly plan this, but we ended going to Disney with some friends of ours on Friday. They invited us Thursday and we couldn't possibly refuse. So, Adam and I left Friday afternoon for Orlando. After tons of traffic on I4, we eventually made it to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. We checked in and headed out to Downtown Disney for dinner. We then met Blerina and Mike to see Ratatouille (which is very cute) and made it back to the resort at 1:30 am. We slept in until 10 am and then prepared for the day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. We arrived at about 1:30 pm, finally found Blerina and Mike around 2:15pm, and then the fun began. We rode every ride (many more than once) and had a blast! Adam and I were pretty sore and really came to grips with the fact that we were aging. Both of us would have paid $100 for a few Motrin (which we forgot in our last minute packing). All we had was some Tylenol Cold, which we settled for (at least it had Tylenol) and lived with our aches until morning. (I then went to the gift shop and paid $7 for 20 Motrin tabs...I'd have paid more...) We had a light breakfast and headed home with a stop at Gander Mountain for some fishing supplies for next weekend. Overall, it was a great weekend!!! Here are some pics...
